Wine of the Week!
Regusci 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon $45
When we make a Wine of the Week selection a lot of thought goes into it. Sometimes the wine might cost a bit more and be a bit harder to find… but it’s worth it!
Track down the Regusci 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon. This is Cab from the Stags Leap District of Napa and it’s a rich and full flavored mouthful of wine!
You’ll get the telltale dark fruitiness of Cabernet along with a hint of spicy mint. It has a nice balance of oak from the almost two years it’s been aged in the barrel which adds a little taste of vanilla. All in all a wine that’s got layers of flavors.
It’s the complexity that makes this a special wine of the week and not much is produced – which is why it costs about forty five dollars a bottle.
The Regusci 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon can be enjoyed right now but will continue to evolve if you want to delay your gratification a couple of years!
Pop the cork™.

Regusci Winemaker's Notes:
An exceptional example of the 2004 vintage, bold fruit and full bodied. Deep garnet in color, with concentrated aromas of rich, black cherry fruit and violets. Hints of spice and toasty vanilla oak rise to the surface with a gentle swirl of the glass…silky red fruit flavors rush in, saturating the palate.
This Cabernet is full bodied and balanced with a rich, satisfying finish. Although tempting to sip now, this wine will excel with a few years of cellaring.

Notes on our Wines of the Week, Recommendations, and Picks:
When you read our thoughts, please remember that you may think differently. A particular wine may be your favorite and not on our list. Well, don't stop buying it because of that. In fact, you may want to email us and let us know about it. These are our opinions but our FIRST recommendation is to go by your own palate.
A couple of other thoughts . . . first, prices are approximate. They'll vary. Second, different vintages mean different grapes and different tastes so our recommendation for a 2000 Merlot may not hold for 2001.
And lastly, we remind you to drink responsibly! Now, all that said, here is a summary of links to our suggestions. Find one (or more) and pop the cork!
