Backbone
We love a wine with backbone!
"What's backbone," you ask? Well
that's when a wine has got some fortitude. with great structure
and balance.
It's just like that strong, supportive
part of our anatomy that lets us stand tall and it's the solid core
of strength some folks seem to have too. So we made it part of
The Wine Experience wine shorthand.
Now, clearly, savoring the wide variety
of aromas and discovering all the layers of flavors wines offer
are the best parts of a wine experience. Yet having a vocabulary
with some good shorthand descriptions is the way we get to share
the experience.
But sometimes the problem is that people
get a bit "over the top" when describing wine and that just starts
to sound snooty . . . and snooty we don't want. So use everyday
words, smells and tastes . . . things everyone can relate to in
order to describe your wine . . . like "backbone."
It tells you right away something substantial
in the glass coming.
Pop the cork™.
