Pinot Blanc and Bianco White Wine: The Wine Experience

There are lots of different wine varieties in the world and some always seem to get overshadowed by more famous cousins. That's definitely how it is with Pinot Blanc.

Pinot Blanc has long been in the shadow of Chardonnay. Not familiar with it? Well it's full bodied like chard but usually not as complex. It's like a more subtle version with the soft aroma of a spiced apple. It's got the zing of acidity to balance it which makes it a versatile food wine.
Look for Pinot Blanc from France 's Alsace and from Monterey County in California or from Italy where it's called Pinot Bianco. It's a bit lighter styled than the ones from France or the US .

We're all for having a wide range of wine experiences which is why Pinot Blanc is a great fit as a Chardonnay alternative and particularly when we just want to sip a glass of white.

It doesn't have to get any more complicated than that.
